Behind the three letters FKJ — for French Kiwi Juice — stands one of the most widely exported French musicians of his generation. Across twelve tracks, FKJ surrounds himself as never before : Britain’s Labrinth on « Little Little Voice », American rapper Bas of Dreamville on « Heavy Heart », singer Baby Rose on « Burst », plus Eryn Allen Kane and Lucy Park. The first single, « Soulmates », out at the start of the summer, sets the tone : a warm, enveloping production and a Balan Evans-directed video that stages the tension between solitude and connection.
